Tour Fort Ti with Friends
It’s not too late to sign up for the Friends’ bus trip to Fort Ticonderoga on Saturday, October 24. Experience a dramatic recreation of one of the greatest Continental Army victories of 1776 on its actual 250th anniversary. The bus will depart CDTA’s Delaware Ave. park-and-ride lot in Elsmere next to the Warbler Brewery at 9am and return at 5pm. The cost is $55 for members ($45 for children) and $60 for non-members ($50 for children) and includes transportation, guided tour and tips. There is a small cafe on-site or you can pack a picnic lunch.

The September Book Sale was a great success, and it really does take a lot of Friends! So, in addition to the 80-plus devoted Friends, led by Barbara Kling and Claire Crawford, thanks go also to:
- Our “publicity” volunteers who put up all the signs and flyers around town;
- The library staff who provides wonderful adult and children’s materials and also supports our book sales in every way; and
- YOU: the people in our community who donate books which augment the library’s donations and enhance the variety of books offered at the sale.
MISSION
Friends of Bethlehem Public Library support cultural and educational programs for the community and assists the library with special projects and purchases not covered by traditional funding.
